Don't forget that your host-family will go and meet you (free of charge) at Toulon-Hyères airport or Toulon railway station. You only have to advise them -or us- of the exact day (Saturday or Sunday), time and place of your arrival.

By plane

The easiest way to come by plane is via Paris. There are lots of flights each day (by AIR FRANCE) from Paris-Orly to Toulon-Hyères airport, which is situated only 5 km from Hyères town centre. If your international flight lands at Paris-Charles de Gaulle, just take the bus-shuttle to Paris-Orly airport.

Toulon airport (www.toulon-hyeres.aeroport.fr) also receives flights from London (www.ryanair.com) , Brussels (www.jetairfly.com) and Rotterdam (www.transavia.com).

If you don't fly via Paris, you will land at either Marseilles or Nice, where you can take the airport bus-shuttle to the railway station and continue the journey by train (www.voyages-sncf.com) to Toulon (50 mins. from Marseilles, 1h40 mins. from Nice)

By train

As Hyères is situated on a peninsula (the most southern town on the Côte d'Azur), it receives only a few direct trains per day, so it may be better to get off at TOULON railway station, where your host-family will of course meet you.

By car

No matter whether you travel from the north, the east or the west, you will easily reach Hyères by the motorways.
