Romantic Port-Grimaud for a group who learn French in France
Boat-trip on the canals for the students of ELFCA French language school in the south of France
Most ELFCA students have taken part in a bus & boat trip last week; first visit was dedicated to Port-Grimaud, the provençal Venice conceived in south of France by architect François Spoerry in 1966; they’ve silently glided through the canals in an electrically-motioned boat, admiring the picturesque fisherman houses, all different from one another but all united by their mediterranean spirit. In the center of the village stands the mock-fortified church, with its stained glass by Vasarely . The most adventurous students climbed the church bell tower stairs up to the top-terrace, from where one gets a breathtaking view of the whole village. What a souvenir for them who learn French in France with us.
