Hyeres fashion festival is back. Like every spring, young designers from all over the world gathered at Villa de Noailles and Plage de l’Ayguade to compete, exchange and “shake” the very exclusive fashion universe. Under the lead of Riccardo Tisci, artistic director of Givenchy, the festival once more attracted numerous professionals and fascinated even more fashion addicts, mainly female, one must admit! The event was largely commented at Elfca French language school on the Riviera.

In Palais Neptune, Toulon exhibition hall, a festival about Japan took place end of April. Concerts, movies, martial arts demonstrations and conferences explaining mangas’ subtleties gathered an enthusiastic all ages public, among whom many of those who learn French in France at Elfca.

With Martinique great poet and politician Aime Cesaire’s death, they took the opportunity to present French Creole literature, language and history to their students and the most advanced classes even read one of his strongest poems. The desire to visit the French West Indies in the near future was aroused in many participants to French language immersion program.
