The Golden Islands celebrated on national TV

Students taking French language course in Hyeres proud to see “their” islands on TV

National TV France 3 dedicated two Friday evening programs of “Thalassa” to Hyeres islands Porquerolles, Port-Cros and Le Levant. An opportunity to discover the hidden face of the Golden Islands, and their totally different life in the winter season; a more romantic and wilder character that tourists often ignore, but cherished by the many ones who come to Elfca in Hyeres in autumn or winter to learn French in France.

Tokyo Sonata for students at French language school

Participants to French immersion programme see Japanese movie

Cinema programs change on Wednesdays, and a lot of people like to see the new films on the first day, that’s why there is often some queuing, especially for big-budget movies. But the Japanese film Tokyo Sonata didn’t gather crowds, for Japan cinema isn’t very well-known in France yet. A pity, as this strong movie that makes no concessions deserves to be seen, according to those who learn French in the South of France.

Corsi di Francese in Francia means French language courses in France

“Voi imparare la lingua francese?” asks student at French language school

Recently some Italian students decided to teach their US friends a few words of Italian.

And after the usual “buon giorno, arrivederci, ciao, grazie, ti amo(!), guess what they taught them next: just how to say “I want to learn French in France”, “Voglio imparare la lingua francese in Francia”! Useful, isn’t it?

Local Heroes’ fans at French language school

Participants to French language course at Omega live concert

New meeting last Saturday for the fans of Local Heroes. One more night to present regional groups in big concerts once a month. On stage this time The Hearts, coming from Toulon with their power pop Indie, Dissonant Nation, a guitar- bass- percussion trio from Aubagne, The Saturnians and their psychedelic rock and finally Muxy, a pop-electro group made in Six-Fours. Great evening that ravished the foreigners who study French in France.
