A typical Christmas Eve dinner for student at French language school
Holiday in Hyeres for girl learning French in south of France
During the school annual closing time, some long stayers chose to remain in France to visit a few big cities and important museums and to experience a French “Noel”. Actually, tradition is no longer totally observed, especially with attending Midnight mass (!), but gastronomy keeps mostly unchanged: the French still consume quantities of oysters, foie gras, salmon, lobsters, ducks and turkeys, and for dessert, the “bűche de Noel” (Christmas log) is still a must! Oceans of champagne guarantee a cheerful atmosphere. “Great prospect” said Japanese girl studying French at Elfca French language school in South of France.
